We had a fantastic time in Year 2 during Maths Day yesterday. As a class, we explored different themes and areas of mathematics, some of our activities included: - Times Table bingo - Multiplication & Division boardgames - Lines of symmetry - Outdoor maths games (multiplication catch, addition target practice with bean bags and hoops) During the afternoon, we did some Maths art and created our own tessellation's using 2-D shapes. The children made their own patterns and created some beautiful artwork! |
