Our story focus this week was Ruby's Worry which encouraged some brilliant work around emotions and feelings, we had lots of discussions on this topic for Children's Mental Health Week.
After researching and designing, this week, it was time to create and construct our bridges. The children in school were given a STEM challenge using cocktail sticks and sweets/marshmallows to see how they could use the resources to build a bridge. There was a lot of teamwork and critical thinking about how to make their bridge strong and stable! The children at home were very creative in their use of resources, we had junk modelling, cardboard, Lego, wood and more! I am so impressed with the creations! A big well done to you all!! 9:00 - *Live register and Friday Bingo!!

Think carefully about the design you drew last week and what resources you are going to use to make your bridge. If you are using junk modelling you may need some more time tomorrow to finish. If you are stuck for ideas have a look here. Don't forget to take a photo of the finished product. Once you have made your bridge (today or tomorrow if you need extra time), you need to evaluate it. What is good? What could be better? What would you do next time? You could write these answers or discuss with a grown up. It would be great if you wanted to send a video of you discussing your ideas too. 15:00 - *Live Class assembly part 2 Timetable
