This week, our culinary skills took us across the border to Scotland as we made the most delicious, traditional Scottish shortbread. It was a hit with all of the children and even Mrs Anderson who told us that shortbread was her absolute favourite, so we kindly gave her a biscuit to try... it was a thumbs up from Mrs Anderson too. 

Hearing the children read and seeing them share books is always a pleasure, but this week we have been overjoyed as a few children have been super brave and have read stories out loud to the whole class. As you can see from the picture, Year One and Mrs Marvin were engrossed in the story of The Big Bad Bogey, read so beautifully by Elsie. What a treat for us all!

The Bee Bots have been on their own adventures around the classroom as we have been practicing our programming skills in computing. The children enjoyed using blocks from the construction area to create bridges and obstacles for their Bee Bot which was a great challenge to direct without crashing.
