Can you draw a shape with a perimeter of 12cm? 20cm? 15cm? 30cm? 2. Can you draw a shape with MORE than 5 sides with a perimeter of 25cm? 32cm? 18cm? 3. A square has a perimeter of 24cm. Can you draw 4 rectangles with the same perimeter? 4. Have a go at the problem in the picture attached to this post - it's up for Year 8 children to solve! But I think quite a few of you would get the answer if you think carefully! Let us know! Do you notice anything about the answers? Could you explain why? Lexie has been working really hard on the sport and nutrition topic web this week. She has created a timeline of the Olympic games as well as some great facts displayed in the Olympic rings. Well done, Lexie!

I hope you all had a fabulous half term! I certainly made the most of the sunshine and enjoyed going for walks around my farm and checking the cows. I thought it would be nice if you sent me a photo of something you've enjoyed doing in half term. I'm sure Mrs Peters and Miss Chalcraft will enjoy seeing a nice gallery of half term fun on the blog too. It is another sunny day today so please do make the most of this wonderful sunshine.
