Yep, it is that time of year already. 8 weeks in school is a long time, however I feel as though it has flown by for Year 3.
Already the children are showing progress and adapting ever so well to KS2. We have been creating pots similar to those made by the beaker people throughout the Bronze age and had a go at painting them too. Year 3 are also moving on to more complex mathematics, where they are adding and subtracting 10s and 1s across 100s. In English, they have been retelling the story of the first painting, putting themselves in the shoes of a stone age person and writing in first person using a range of grammatical structures. It has been a learning curve these past two months and Year 3 deserve a break - enjoy!! Comments are closed.
