The children have been busy this week continuing to learn about fractions. At the start of the week, they enjoyed playing different fraction games to consolidate and apply their understanding of equivalent fractions, fractions of amounts and fractions of shapes. There was an added challenge of working together to understand the rules of each game.
In Art, the children became mini Picassos and created their own pieces of artwork inspired by his different techniques and styles.
The children first created a collage base, using different paper backgrounds, and then drew faces with black marker pen over the top. Finally, they added blocks of colour, using water colours, to their pictures. They look fantastic!
Have a lovely weekend!
