In Science this week, after discussing what living things are and what habitats are, we took to the grounds to search for living things in their habitats. We carefully looked under leaves, logs, bricks etc... and we found a multitude of wildlife; all of which were looked at in petri dishes, before being carefully placed back where they had been found. We found spiders, millipedes, snails, slugs and even ants moving what looked to be eggs away from our eagle eyes.
We then went over to inspect the willow dome and EXCITINGLY, more of the willow is now shooting, hurray! We cannot wait to start weaving the dome to make it a truely living shelter. We also took part in an Ocra sporting event which involved long jump, javelin, sprint and two laps around the field. Incredible fitness and sportsmanship shown. Well done. We wish you all a super weekend. Miss Chalcraft, Mrs Graham and Mrs White Comments are closed.
