Years 5 and 6 VE Day Celebrations

Throughout the year, we have been working on World War Two. To end the topic, we planned on holding a VE day celebration to coincide with the 75th anniversary.

On Thursday 7th May, we would like to hold a virtual afternoon tea and quiz. We would like you to send us a WW2 question (with answer); Year 6 will write questions for Year 5 and vice versa.

Please submit your question by the end of school on Tuesday 5th May. We will the select a number of these questions to create a quiz for both classes.

If you would like to make a hat, mask, bunting or a flag for the occasion, we’d love to see them.

The Year 5 meeting will take place at 2:15 pm and Year 6’s will be at 3:00 pm. Don’t forget you drink and snack (if you’d like one).
