We took part in a 'Footy and Booky' organised by the Literacy Trust, where football stars and authors hosted a football / book-related quiz. This was very much enjoyed by the class. We also watched a BBC Live Lesson looking at different genres of books, linked with the theme of World Book Day this year: 'Read Your Way'. We did book character crosswords, read our own books and enjoyed the book fair in the hall hosted by Dogberry and Finch bookshop. A big thank you to the PTA who gave every child one of the World Book Day books too! As well as this, the book tokens were also given out to use another time. A great day was had by all!
