We had lots of fun celebrating Chinese New Year in Preschool last week. We made our own dragon and joined in with a Dragon Dance, we had lots of opportunities to practice our scissor skills as we made lanterns, mini-dragons and paper dolls and we especially enjoyed making and eating our own Stir Fry.

We had lots of fun re-telling the story 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' in lots of different ways. We also enjoyed making our own bears.

We've been having lots of fun making our own Zoo in Preschool. We built enclosures, visited the Zoo, looked after the animals and made signs to tell visitors all about the animals. We also had fun making parrots and bears and exploring animal patterns with the paint.

The children did a fantastic job singing their Christmas songs at our Sing-A-Long -well done everyone! They also enjoyed a well deserved visit from Santa, party games and food at our party. We spent the last two weeks of term  working hard in Santa's workshop helping to wrap presents, decorate, write labels and make toys.
