Dear parents, Please see attached an important letter from the Dartmoor MAT trustees regarding the wider re-opening of schools. Please note that the trustees have decided that the re-opening should be delayed until the 8th of June in order to ensure that all health and safety considerations have been taken into account and acted upon. Further details about re-opening to pre-school, Year R, Year 1 and Year 6 from the 8th June will follow next week, but please be aware that the opening will be phased throughout the week - not all priority year groups will be able to return on Monday 8th. The reason for this is to ensure that all guidelines can be met as numbers increase. If you are a critical worker and require provision for your child to cover the days you are at work, please book them into the 'Critical Workers' Club' which will be open to all critical workers' children from Tuesday 2nd June. You will notice that there are options for provision for the morning only, the afternoon only or all day; this is to help fit around your shift patterns. If you are able to look after your children at home on any day, please do so; this is still the safest option for them. It will greatly help us with planning if you could make any bookings as soon as possible. Thank you. Please be assured that we are working hard to ensure that everything is ready for the wider reopening and that parents of priority year groups will receive more information over the next week to help prepare you and your children for the return. If you have any problems, please do email me [email protected] Very best wishes and enjoy the rest of this lovely, sunny week, Sarah Marvin 27.5.2020_parent_letter.pdf Comments are closed.
