Class Photos Tuesday 23rd MayTempest Photographers will be in school on Tuesday 23rd May to take class photos of the children. Please ensure that you child has their school jumper or cardigan in school with them on this day. It looks like we will have some lovely sunshine this week and we will be hoping to do some learning outside of the classrooms. Please could all children bring a hat, water bottle and suncream to school with them every day. We are unable to apply suncream to the pupils, so please apply each morning before school. Ideally, hats should cover the ears and back of neck as well heads. Year 6 Normandy ResidentialYear 6 enjoyed a full week of activities in Normandy, France, last week along with other year 6 pupils from, across the academy. The Trust blog for the week can be viewed here. In addition, there are many photos and news from each day (including more added today) on the Year 6 Blog Page. Thank you to all the pupils for your impeccable behaviour throughout the week and a big thank you to Mrs Dunn, Mr Wilkins, Mrs Budworth and Miss Watts for looking after them so well. Years 1 and 2's visit to The Devon ShowWe had the BEST day at Devon County Show with Years 1 and 2. There was SO much to see and do. The children were amazing and we were very proud of how they represented South Tawton. Thank you so much to all of the school staff and parents who volunteered to help: without you these trips cannot go ahead! The children saw so much and got to try so many new things: rock climbing, pastie making, rope making, CPR, butter making, flour making and so much more!
