Dear parents,Please follow the link to an update letter from Mrs Underwood which also contains the results of our recent home-learning survey. Thank you to everyone who responded to the survey so positively - you're all doing an amazing job at home. Please remember that you can contact us by email and request a phone-call for you or your child, if things are feeling tough.
Several classes now have 'Cluster' accounts where the children and staff can share photos and comments. I'm really enjoying being part of these groups and seeing the lovely things you're doing at home. Cluster is a lovely light-hearted and safe way to share news and feel the class social vibe that is so important to us all.
All classes have now had the chance to take part in a zoom meeting and these will be happening regularly as another way to keep the pupils in touch with us and each other. If your child is nervous of taking part, why not suggest that they join with their cameras off and microphones on mute, so that they can see their friends and feel involved, even if they do not wish to contribute.
Back to School
There has been a lot of debate and speculation in the media about when schools will reopen. The Three Hares heads and the DMAT have been planning ways to do this which will help children to integrate back into school life in a safe and successful way. At the moment, we have no date for when this may be, but are all looking forward to it!
Critical worker school
School continues to open for the small number of children of key workers who have no other safe childcare provision.
Please keep in contact with your class teachers by email, sending in photos and discussing home learning. Teachers are working everyday to support the children as best we can. We're incredibly proud of our children and families for the way they are adjusting and finding a routine for work and play during this period. We hope that the additional choice of activities between BBC Bitesize, Hamilton Literacy and White Rose maths has enabled you to find the right balance within your family. From Monday 11th May, the White Rose maths worksheets will be available to subscribers only. We are currently in the process of subscribing for this as a school, so your access should be unaffected.
Please take a moment to explore the school news, class and well-being blog pages. There are so many lovely photos and stories on the class pages. The school news blog is regularly updated with new activities and ideas for home-learning. The Well-being blog is a place to go if you're looking for any support.
Have a great weekend and please do not hesitate to contact us if you need us.
