Inspired by BBC Bitesize this morning, Joshua has designed a presentation of his own, new, business idea. Take a look at his powerpoint below.
30_3_joshuas_new_business.odp Lola has drawn some detailed pictures of animals, to share with you. The majestic lion looks very proud and she's managed to capture the movement in the cheetah really well.

Kate has been continuing with her Spanish studies, completing fun word searches and captions, Emily has been multiplying fractions and Lola has been doing some History on BBC Bitesize- it's worth a look if you are interested in something different. Below are some photos to enjoy. Well done everyone. You are all fantastic, Year 5!
There have been several emails this week, thank you, telling me about all the lovely things you have been doing, as well as completing lots of Maths, English and Topic. Joshua went to Teignmouth at the weekend, and saw some amazing cruise ships and lots of rowing boats. He even had time for a game of crazy golf. Do you think he let Dad win? It was Father's Day after all! Harry B and Eli have produced some fantastic pastel drawings this week (with Mrs Horsley and Mrs Glover), inspired by The Mayflower, an English ship which set sail from Plymouth to America in 1620.
Callum has been busy going out on fun bike rides, enjoying family walks on Dartmoor and has also been doing some bug hunting. Lola has been enjoying the outdoors too, taking her dog for a walk, lovely. Kate's family celebrated Harry's birthday this week, 'Happy Birthday Harry!' and many of you joined in our class Zoom catch-up this morning. It was lovely to see you all and thank you for making the game of Scattergories, fun! I look forward to receiving more of your emails and photos for the blog, next week. If you were hoping to do some French today, listen to, 'A fishing trip to Marseille' and write down 10 new words, then follow this hyperlink. There is a problem with the one on the Topic Web, and it doesn't work, oops!
www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/clips/zq3d2hv I have received some superb photos, keeping us all up to date with what you have been doing. What a variety. There has been: hotel building (Ben), baking (Alfie), poetry and research into Gods and Goddesses (Matilda)!
Our next Zoom catch up is this Thursday, 25th June at 9.30am. Look forward to seeing lots of you then. Harry B, Archie and Eli have enjoyed creating some superb paintings in Art, with Mrs Horsley and Mrs Glover, this week. They have all created lovely shading and detail with their paints, and look very proud, and rightly so! Well done.
