New civilisations

In English, Year 5 have been studying the text 'Weslandia' by Paul Fleischman. They have written their stories in the style of 'Weslandia' based on their own invented civilisations.  

In Topic, we continue to learn about the Mayan Culture and this week we have looked at how the Maya used to trade. Pupils created their own strategy game based on the goods that were traded by the Maya. There were some impressive game boards and very well thought-out rules to each game. Well done everyone.
