Last week in Year 5, the children all designed a gingerbread figure to decorate the School hall (along with the other classes), for Christmas. As Miss Watts and I stuck them on the window, we saw all the cleverly thought out designs the children had made. They all look very Christmassy- well done Year 5!
On Wednesday afternoon, we had some visitors in school from Proper Job, Chagford. The ladies taught us about what it means to be more sustainable, through reusing, reducing and recycling our belongings, which we no longer want. All the children made a Christmas wreath using recycled fabrics, supplied by Proper Job, and each child attached their pledge for how they would make their own Christmas more sustainable this year. The wreaths all looked stunning. Mrs Bonnett, Mrs Leslie & Miss Watts Comments are closed.
