To start our English unit of work this term, Year 5 enjoyed a bracing walk to the top of Cosdon Beacon on Monday. Our Dartmoor Ranger, Ian Brooker, provided us with a fascinating guide, explaining some of the history and geology of our local part of the moors. What an amazing sense of achievement we all felt when we reached the top! Well done everyone.

In Geography this term, we are studying Informal Settlements and we started the lesson with discussing what makes a good shelter. In Art, we drew pictures in the style of a post-impressionist artist.
