Week 22

Welcome back to the second part of the spring term. It's lovely to see everyone in our online lessons as well as in class and we're very excited to know that we'll be seeing you all back in school soon. 

We've started a new topic of the Amazon Basin as well as a new focus in science of 'Living Things' (which seems very appropriate for this time of year). I've really enjoyed reading your black-out poems and 'Jungle Trek Survival' pamphlets this week. Next week, we'll find out about another real-life survival story in our English lesson. 

Things to remember for next week: 
- Can everyone try to come to our Science lesson on Monday afternoon with a flower to dissect. A good flower to use would be a primrose, tulip, geranium or snowdrop. Unfortunately, it doesn't work very well with a daisy, dandelion or daffodil. 
- Thursday is World Book Day and Mrs Marvin will be setting lots of fun activities to do so you might want to hold onto your used cereal boxes and save any junk modelling from your recycling box. You do not need to dress up for World Book Day.
