This week in Year 5 we have started our Science topic of Space. I have found out so many facts about our Solar System from the children and the books they have bought in - thank you so much! We created our own scaled-down version of the planets on a roll of toilet paper and then onto till rolls - the rocky planets are SO close together compared to the jovian planets.
We have also been discussing 'Who killed Thomas Beckett' in our History lesson - you'll have to ask your child who they think killed him: was it King Henry II, the knights or was it Thomas himself? In art, we are studying the designs of Morag Myerscough, in particular the bright colours and shapes she used to design the Sheffield Children's Hospital. Well done everyone, you've worked very hard this week. Comments are closed.
