Week 4

On Tuesday, KS2 took part in a 'Quad Kids' competition run by OCRA. Year 5 pupils managed to survive a 75m sprint, vortex throw, long jump and 600m run (a tough run around the perimeter of the school field 6 times!). Everyone did brilliantly and showed amazing support for each other. 

Feather Quills and Blackberry Ink!
We had fun in the Outdoor Learning area on Thursday morning making our own ink using blackberries from the hedgerows. Pupils then sharpened feather quills to have a go at writing their names in the Elizabethan style. I think they did a very good job! Thank you very much to Izzy (and Gran!) for bringing in the feathers for everyone, we're pleased to see you had a go at home too!
