Week 5

In Science on Monday we investigated 'Day and Night' and 'Changing Shadows'. It was a grey and overcast day with no shadows to be discovered outside, so how else do you investigate that the Earth spins on it's axis? With beach balls, torches and lego characters of course! 

In Topic we found out about the Spanish Armada and Sir Francis Drake. We talked about his links to Tavistock and Plymouth and looked at his home, Buckland Abbey. It may be worth a visit over half term if you can make it?
