As part of our Computing topic this half term we are going to be looking at word processing. In preparation for this, we had a go at a touch typing game to help us to develop the keyboard skills that we will need to be able to type effectively.

As part of our Science topic Materials, we carried out an experiment to see which of the different materials would be the most absorbent and the best for mopping up a spill. We had to create a hypothesis before we started the experiment and we were then able to review this at the end of our experiment.

Year Two had great fun creating their own vehicles using their designs, as part of their DT work.

Lots of the Children had great fun at Lego club, creating their own robots.

Each week in Year Two, we choose two books that we have read to vote on as a class. This week we had to choose between 
‘Malala’s magic pencil’ and ‘Polonius the pit pony.’

It has been wonderful to see all of the children return after the Christmas holiday and we’ve all enjoyed hearing about everyone’s super Christmas break.

This week we had a carousel of activities based on our Maths topic, money.
