It's been another super, busy week for Year Two!! There has been lots of fantastic blended learning happening and we've loved joining together with everyone at every opportunity. I continue to be immensely proud and totally amazed at the way in which the children have adapted to our new situation. The enthusiasm has been amazing from Year Two and we love all of the extra family members, pets and cuddly toys that join in with the dancing and the star jumps!!
In Literacy we have been learning about the poem 'The Quangle Wangle's hat' by Edward Lear. You might notice some fantastic creations in our gallery below. In Maths, we have been continuing our work on Multiplication and division and have been using the X symbol to write our number sentences. We enjoyed a powerpoint that the Devon and Somerset Fire service had made for us all about our topic The Great Fire of London. The children have been so interested and engaged by the topic and this has allowed us to have some very in depth conversations about the topic. We all enjoyed the Saints Live P.E session and it was great to be able to do this as a whole class, together. Have a super, well deserved weekend and I will see you all again on Monday!! Mrs Dennis.
