Monday 1st March 2021.
9:00- We are starting our day with a dance video which has been made by ex South Tawton pupil, Emily. Emily has made this video as a great way to get moving, have some fun and learn a new dance routine during lockdown. Great work Emily!! We're going to learn the second part of the video tomorrow.
9:20- *Live* Registration.
9:30- Grey group Phonics with Mrs Dennis. Purple group Phonics with Miss Rowe.
10:00- Yellow group phonics with Mrs Dennis. Pink group Phonics with Miss Rowe.
Literacy- News. As your task today, I would like you to write about what you did over the weekend.
Extension challenge: using materials from around your home, have a go at making your own 3D shapes or models. 12:00- Lunch.
13:00- *Live* Maths feedback and maths quiz.
13:30- PSHE. Rights and responsibilities. What are the ‘ingredients’ that make a good friendship? Discuss with your child what is important in a friendship. Write your ideas down - recipe style!
Don't leave people out
Look out for someone who's feeling lonely
Sometimes we can fall out with friends so you could think of another recipe – a recipe for making up.
Have a hug
Invite someone to join in (a game or a conversation)
Do something special to show you really want to be their friend again
Write and draw about your friends on Harold the giraffe's special activity sheet: Break Snack
Computing. In this session you will learn about what information is safe to share online with others and what information should be kept private/ only shared with your trusted adults.
Activity : Using the activity sheet, fill in the details they have been asked for. Look back at the pictures and discuss green = family, orange = friends and red = everyone. Take each fact at a time and discuss who this piece of information can be shared with. Think about the information that you should only share with your parents (trusted adults).
