*Read the word.

Children to practice their scripts and song lyrics for the Christmas performance. We will be filming the production on Tuesday 15th December. It will make it’s way to you on Friday 18th December.

As previously discussed, I will be completing the phonics screening check with the children at the beginning of next week. Please encourage the children to practice their sounds as much as possible, and encourage the children to look for their ‘special friends’, Fred talk and then read the word when decoding words. The test is nothing for the children to worry about it, and they are very used to carrying out similar assessments.
