As we roll into the 3rd week of term already it is safe to say that Y6 have been busy revising for our SATS. I wish them all the best for next week! We have also been investigating impressionism, in particular work by Claude Monet and his famous ‘Japanese bridge’ artwork using acrylic paints. His artwork is inspirational and the techniques we are learning could be used to paint beautiful impressions of Dartmoor. Give it a go!! As we brace ourselves for the spring half term, I have to say Year 6 have been a pleasure to teach these past 5 weeks. I am especially impressed by their dedication towards our book club reading sessions and their team work during their outdoor education lessons.
