As we brace ourselves for ​the spring half term, I have to say Year 6 have been a pleasure to teach these past 5 weeks. I am especially impressed by their dedication towards our book club reading sessions and their team work during their outdoor education lessons.
We recently completed a 'competitive litter pick' where 4 teams had ten minutes to collect as much litter as they could across the school grounds. They did so with vigour and showed pride in looking after their school like true global citizens!  
We also spent an afternoon this week working with Year R. The Year 6's helped Year R with making dream catchers and worry dolls for mental health week, whilst being outside and in the rain! Their ability to work with younger children was admirable and there are certainly some future teachers in Year 6!
