This week Year 3 have been writing a prequel story for a book that we have been reading in class called How to Live forever. They have produced some incredible stories so far and we are going to be creating and designing our own books next week. We are planning to send our finished copies off to the author for him to read. This week Year 3 have been sequencing different sounds using a program called Scratch. We have tested out various sounds for our Sprite, learnt how to change and adapt our backgrounds and some basic movement of our Sprite. Scratch is free to use at home and I’m sure that the children would love to show off their programming skills. |
