Year 3 were absolutely delightful this week. They have been so kind and welcoming, thank you. We have been getting to know each other and doing lots of lovely learning at the same time.
In Maths, we have been looking at measurement in mm, cm and m and converting between them. We also started our new humanities topic of Water, Weather and Climate by looking at the water cycle. We have also been very lucky to have had a couple of sporting opportunities with a cricket workshop as well as double Saints PE. Please see the photos below. Really hope you all have a lovely weekend and look forward to seeing you again on Monday. Party Time!Year 3 finally got to enjoy their class party this week. They all had a great time with some bubbles, several games of musical statues and yummy food. It was a really lovely way to end the term with the class. I hope they all have a lovely half term break. Take care, everyone, and see you soon.
Today, the children have been busy researching ancient Greece so they can write visitor guides and leaflets next week in their English lessons. They've also thoroughly enjoyed 'Love Yourself' Day. The children had time to share their special items and discuss why they were so special to them. The children were also incredibly excited to find out that they had sold the most raffle tickets at Christmas and therefore won £100! After much discussion, they chose to spend the money on new colouring books, pens, pencils and stencils. The parcels arrived this week, and they all had the chance to test these out this afternoon. As for the rest of the money, the class have chosen to have a class party at the end of half term and have chosen which party food they would like. Have a lovely weekend!
