It's been lovely to see the children back in school after the Easter break. 

We've had some lovely weather this week and the children have enjoyed plenty of time on the school field at break and lunch time. They've also had their first PE lesson on the field: football with Mr Berry. 

In other areas of the curriculum, the children have been continuing to learn about fractions, started their new Geography topic, Villages, Towns and Cities and have been learning about Pablo Picasso, with Miss Jackson, in Art.

Year 3 have had a busy week with completing assessments, but they have worked incredibly well and tried their best. The children have also continued working on their cricket skills in PE and have written some wonderful kennings, haikus and acrostic poetry in English.
