What another great day it's been. Lot's of you have been busy doing lots of lovely activities. I know you've been away from school for what feels like forever, but you are all doing such an incredible job of stay positive and proactive. You should be incredibly proud of yourselves. Whatever you've been up to today, I hope you've managed to enjoy some of the sunshine. We are so fortunate to have weather like this during this time, so please do make the most of it. Several of you have also told me that you have had (or will soon be having) a go at the escape room challenges. Let me know how you get on. Have a lovely evening! Thank you, Eleanor, for creating this brilliant fitness circuit. Take a look at the video below and have a go!
I hope you've all been making the most of this beautiful sunshine. William and I have done our work in the garden today along with some gardening. Fingers crossed the plants grow! Harriet has been putting her family through their paces with the 'Around the World' brain teaser, and Eleanor B has been giving the online Escape Rooms a go. Freddie has created his own fitness circuit. It consisted of 5 laps around his house, then 10 push- ups, 20 star jumps, followed by 25 skips (with a skipping rope) and then holding a squat for as long as he could. He managed all this in 188 seconds. Great work, Freddie. Fancy giving Freddie's circuit a go? Or creating one of your own? Don't forget to let me know how you get on, I've always wanted to have a go at an Escape Room, so when this appeared in my inbox, I was very excited! I thought you might enjoy it to. If you have a go, don't forget to let me know how you get on. Click here to visit the website (make sure you scroll to the bottom of the page for the online versions). It's been great hearing from several of you today. Please do get in touch during the week if you haven't already; I'd love to hear from you. The sunshine is set to last for the rest of the week, so I am challenging you to show me how you are making the most of it. I've been going for runs in the sunshine and gardening (with varied success). Send in your photos and let your class see what you've been getting up to. I thought you may like some different kinds of challenges. Click on the links below for access to some brain teaser activities. These are just for fun and something I thought you might enjoy. You could even have a go at making your own and we could post them on the blog for others to try. Countries of the World Animals of the World |
