Happy new year! 

Welcome back, Year One! Although the weather has been fairly miserable this week, the children have made the most of some dry spells and enjoyed reconnecting with one another after a few weeks off. I think everyone is feeling much better and healthier after a well-deserved Christmas break.

In science, we learnt about animal classification. The children shared their knowledge of mammals, amphibians, reptiles, birds and fish and explained the reason why the animals were grouped.
