Continuing with our learning about the UK, this week our focus country is Wales.  Today is St David's day. St David's day is celebrated on 1st March each year, so in honour of the people of Wales, we will be learning about traditional St David's day celebrations.

Well... we have made it to half term... what a term it has been! You have continued to amaze me with your efforts, enthusiasm and unbelievable hard work! I would like to say a huge well done and thank you to all of Year One and their families for everything they have done this half term!

A BIG thank you, as well, to Mrs Snell, Mrs Dunn and Mrs Bazeley for everything they have done with the children who have been attending school! 

You all deserve a well earned break over half term and enjoy some quality time with your families. I will look forward to seeing you all after half term, albeit virtually, and hopefully it won't be too long until we can be together in person!
