https://www.edinburghzoo.org.uk/webcams/ Good Morning,
We hope you're enjoying your home learning and you're getting outside to have lots of fun too. We've loved hearing about all of your plans for your home learning... It's sounding great fun! Mrs Dennis and Miss Rowe. It's been another busy day for Year One and there has been some very exciting learning taking place. We have also had some super book recommendations that we would like to share with our friends. Please keep sending us your pictures and keep in contact. Mrs Dennis and Miss Rowe.
Book recommendations: The Toad Road Code. Leyland Perree. Stop !at the drop ( it’s too dangerous to hop ) Look! For things wheeled ( better keep your eyes peeled ) Listen ! All around ( can you hear any sound ?) If there’s nothing you can see or can hear Then hop right across you have nothing to fear ! The Secret Garden. Frances Hodgson Burnett. We like it because the girl helps the boy that has been stuck inside. The Terrible Greedy Fossifoo. Charles Fuge We love the beautiful illustrations throughout the book. When the Fossifoo arrives in the Great Green forest, he is very greedy and eats up all the fruits and berries and tears up the trees, he frightens away all the forest creatures. Alone in the empty forest, he soon feels sorry for what he has done, changing his ways to save the forest before it's too late. These are strange times and someone might need one of these.
