Wow! Can you believe the Christmas holidays are upon us? What a busy week we have had. The photos below show how much fun the children have had, despite it not quite being the end of term we had planned. A big well done to every single one of the Year One children who have worked so incredible hard this term and deserve a wonderful Christmas break with their families.
Wishing you all a very merry Christmas and a happy and healthy new year. Miss Rowe. It has been a very busy week this week and, as usual, the children have been working incredibly hard. Today, we had the chance to spend some time sharing books with one another. It was so wonderful to see the children listening intently and reading stories to each other.
This term, our DT project is sewing. The children began using plastic needles and have progressed to using a metal needle to sew a running stitch. There has been lots of problem solving and untangling along the way! I am so impressed with their running stitches so far... well done, Year One!
