Homework set on Wednesday 7th October

​Reading: to read out loud and discuss the text every day for 15 minutes. The book can be either school book or one from home.

Maths: to complete questions 5 to 9 in the Place Value Booklet (please click on the link); if you complete this quickly please challenge yourself to an activity on  “Top Marks”.

I would also like you to practise your two and three times tables.

Science: Look around you, how many different uses can you see for rocks? Can you identify the rock (man-made, igneous, sedimentary or metamorphic)? Why not draw it or take a rubbing, on Monday we will see what varieties you have found.
