Spring term - week 6

For Children's Mental Health Week, the class explored some of the quotes from the book, The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse by Charlie Mackesy. We discussed the importance of kindness and being there for others; the children then created their own kindness quotes and created posters. Their ideas were so thoughtful and showed such compassion for others.

To finish off the week, the children had a go at some mindfulness yoga and meditation. The video led the children through some visualisation and breathing exercises. It was all very calming before they headed off to get ready for the school disco!
