Summer 1 Week 3

In Maths this week, we have been learning about volume and capacity. We had great fun exploring this in a practical way with green water and different measuring jugs and cylinders! The children have been using their knowledge of reading scales to measure accurately. 

We also had a wonderful time celebrating the King’s coronation. Here are all the children with their outstanding crowns. We were so impressed by their creativity and resourcefulness. 

Thank you to everyone who came out to watch and cheer on our Crown parade, it was lovely seeing so many happy faces. Thank you also to everyone who brought food in for the Coronation picnic this afternoon, it was all delicious and enjoyed by all the children.
