The highlight of the week was, undoubtedly, the music concert held on Thursday afternoon. It was incredible to watch the Year 3 children sing their hearts out for so many parents and family members. I was blown away by the talent of the young musicians and singers we have in our class. The last lesson of our plants (science) unit was based on seed dispersal. The children had a great deal of fun making paper helicopters and watching them fly across the playground. This helped them realise just how far seeds can travel in the wind. Patrick was our record holder - his helicopter travelled from the middle of the playground, over the cars in the car park and landed safely, next to the climbing frame, on the school field! Have a lovely weekend.
