This week we took our English lesson outside of the classroom and had a treasure hunt for words that include apostrophes. We have learnt that apostrophes can be used for two reasons: the omission of a letter or to show possession. The children went on a hunt around the playground to find matchings pairs. They had great fun! Linking to our History topic of Ancient China, Year 3 have been learning about traditional Chinese food in Design Technology. This week they were able to sample a range of sauces, noodles and prawn crackers. After trying each sample (and a few mixed reactions), the children made notes on the appearance, smell, taste and texture. Have a lovely weekend and see you all on Monday for our visit to Kents Cavern.
