The Year 4 class have had a very exciting and creative week which has included creating personalised optical illusion pictures in art, learning about and drawing different Anglo-Saxon Gods and Goddesses and experimenting to create fascinating patterns on FMS Logo.
It sounds like the Year 4 class had a fantastic time over the Christmas holidays and they have settled back into school very well. This week we began learning about Sounds for our new Science topic, the Anglo-Saxons during History lessons whilst continuing our work on multiplication in Maths. The children have particularly enjoyed our latest book for English 'The day the crayons quit', which they have found very amusing!
