Well, what a week and so quiet with blended learning also occurring. Well done to those at home and those who are in for being so resilient during these crazy times. We have been making the best of it however with Forest School, climbing frame fun and our Christingle service. Well done and thank you to Mrs Dunn for all her superb talent in music across the school, Choir sounded stunning today!
We wish you a very, very Happy Christmas and see you in the New Year, Take care and stay safe, Miss Chalcraft, Mrs Graham and Mrs White
What a busy time we are having in Year 4 with our new topics in full swing. Rivers for Geography and Art, Hinduism for RE, Coding using Scratch for Computing, to name but a few. Our text we are coming to the end of is 'I don't believe it Archie' which is a diary of all the strange events that happen quite by chance to a little boy called Archie. Keep an eye out here for our final pieces next week where we will be writing our own chapter in the style of the text. We ended our times tables unit with times tables Four in a Row and times tables Snakes and Ladders - very noisy and fun!
As part of enriching our pupils and giving them a more global outlook, we have been enjoying 'Lyfta' story worlds, where the children get an incite to different jobs, lives and cultures through this immersive platform. Click here to see what Lyfta is all about. This week the children visited an American Chef who is based in San Francisco wowing his clients with his amazing Ceviche. We then looked at what Ceviche was made from and how - see below. Have a super weekend, Miss Chalcraft, Mrs Graham and Mrs White |
