A message in a bottle...

Those pesky pirates have been at it again and we still don't have our treasure back!! However, we discovered a message in a bottle... the pirates, Danger Dan and Peg-Leg Sue, wanted us to tell them why they should return OUR treasure.
As a class we brainstormed lots of ideas:

1. The treasure belongs to us. 
2. Stealing is bad and against the law.
3. We deserve to have it back because we have been waiting patiently. 
4. We have been working so hard at school, it's only fair they return it. 
5. The treasure is special and means a lot to us. 
6. To persuade the pirates, we thought we could do a trade with them. If they return the treasure, we would give them Miss Rowe's pirate ship bottle boat!

So, we decided we must write a letter to the pirates using all of our fantastic ideas and persuade them to return our treasure... fingers crossed we get our treasure back soon!!
