Happy Weekending All!

What a super week! We had nine pupils in year 4 gain their pen licence certificates and everyone else really working hard to get theirs. We have been so very impressed with the high level handwriting, well done!  As you can see from the previous post, we had some super 'ear' homework (just a selection posted).  Today we did an experiment on pitch, see if your children tell you our findings?

Volcano Themed Day: Friday 4th December
The class have chosen to celebrate getting all their marbles  with a Science and Volcano themed day on Friday 4th December.  Slime kit needed: If the children have a slime kit or you can get hands on one for Friday (or some of the ingredients below) that would be amazing, as there are plans afoot to create lava slime to tie in with our topic.  The day will be Topic and Science themed and will be heaps of fun with investigations too!SLIME VOLCANO RECIPE

• 1/2 cup Elmer’s Washable White School Glue
• 1 tbs Saline Solution
• 2 tbs Baking Soda
• 1/4 cup White Vinegar
• Food Coloring (yellow and red)
• Small Container (for mixing slime volcano)
• Small Cup (for mixing vinegar and saline)
• Cookie or Craft Tray
