Lovely start to the new term.

The Year 4 students have had a brilliant first week back after a well deserved break. 

This term, we have started our new English text which is The Iron Man, by Ted Hughes. This week, the children have been working on using similes and noun-phrases to provide detailed descriptions of characters and nouns. 

After working very hard on their Place Value and Addition & Subtraction last term, the children have now moved onto Area & Perimeter in Maths and they are doing a super job! 

As you can see from the pictures above, in PE we have been working on our coordination and balance and have been using different jumping techniques to practice our balancing and landing skills.
