Our forest school took on a jungle theme.  We decorated leaves, built dens for jungle animals and made rain sticks. 

Although we can't visit the zoo at the moment, on Friday we enjoyed an online zoo session all about African animals.  We saw videos and learnt information from the zoo keeper.  After the session we made our own zoos using construction equipment and junk.

We are all so pleased to be back together, playing and learning with all our classmates.  
We have learnt lots of new words and information about jungle animals, their camouflage and what they eat.

Well done to all our Year R children and the adults who have been helping them with home learning activities.  

They way you have engaged with our daily live lessons, completed the tasks set and kept me updated with your photos and messages has been truly wonderful.  To show how much you have achieved, see the photo below of Pippa sitting amongst all her home learning this term (and that doesn't include all the online activities too!)  You have all worked so hard.  

We've made it... it's the final day of home learning today!!!!

Well done everyone.  I can't wait to see you all at the school gate on Monday morning.  But until then, we will meet online at 10am and here are some activities to round off the week.
