We walked with our Year 5 buddies to South Tawton Church to take part in the school Harvest Festival. Back in class we have made Autumn patterns and pictures and practised our letter sounds to start reading words. We enjoy stories everyday in Year R. As part of our literacy work this half term we have learnt about 'The Fox and the Star', 'I am Henry Finch' and 'My Shadow is Pink'.    We enjoyed the wonderful early autumn sunshine in our forest area this week. The children helped gather sticks for our camp fire before making autumn wreaths and salt dough hedgehogs. We all liked the hot chocolate and hedgehog themed story to end the morning. |
