We have had a swashbuckling time this week, culminating in our pirate dressing up day. The children's costumes and accessories looked fantastic and did the treasure chests, maps and wanted posters they created. We ended the week with a treasure hunt where we followed the clues and found our tasty treasure hidden up a tree!
We have started the summer term full of adventurous ideas. We have decided to become pirates and create our own treasure maps, inspired by the story 'The Treasure of Pirate Frank'. We also had fun playing real life 'Pop Up Pirates' and balancing items on our pirates before the sea shanty song finished. |
