Blackberry picking

We made the most if the lovely autumn weather and went blackberry picking at Mrs Glover's farm. Back in class, children cut up some apples and made their own toppings for delicious apple and blackberry crumbles to take home.

This week we have started to learn our letter sounds with Fred Frog. We have learnt to say, read and write the sounds m a s d t and have proudly taken home flashcards and writing sheets to practise.
Another highlight this week was a visit from Sara at the Devon Wildlife Trust. We learnt facts about hedgehogs, hunted for pictures of their food in the forest area and made our own clay hedgehogs too.
