Wishing everyone a Happy Spring break.  Easter Gardens made by Year R
We had a great day at Paignton Zoo. We filled our time visiting as many animals as we could, reading about their habitats and seeing how endangered they were. Back in class this week we have built zoos, written about the animals and our Drawing Club focus has been Mr Benn- Zookeeper. This week we have enjoyed literacy work inspired by Wacky Races. We ended the week by holding our own 'wacky races' in the village using our scooters and bikes. We travelled from school, down the hill, along the road, over the bridge in the park, around the skate park and back up the hill to school again.
We have had a great day celebrating World Book Day. We shared our costumes during assembly, wrote about our characters and also took part in some 'hot seating' to answer questions in character role. In the afternoon we watched a live story time and draw along with author Raahat Kaduji.     |
