Being kind to ourselves and each other

This week we have enjoyed pampering our classmates and staff in our hairdressing and nail salon.  Once you made an appointment you could choose from a wash, cut, restyle and new shade of nail varnish.  We all felt better after a visit this week and it was a super chance to talk to each other too.   

We have also read the story 'The Worrysaurus' by Rachel Bright.  We have talked about times when we feel worried and what we could do when that happens.  Children had excellent ideas including making dream catchers, speaking to adults, giving a hug and playing with someone.
